My Journey: From Zero to 1M+ Followers
Every success story begins with a challenge. When I started teaching online, I faced the same struggles many educators do—no students, no visibility, and no idea how to grow. But through persistence and the right strategy, I transformed my career and now help other teachers do the same.
2018-2019
The Struggle Begins
I started teaching Chinese online on platforms like Verbling and Italki, but getting students was a constant battle. I tried lowering my prices, tweaking my profile, and even offering free trials—nothing worked.
2020
My First Social Media Attempt—And Failure
Determined to change things, I started my social media channels alone. I watched YouTube tutorials, copied viral content, and posted consistently,but seeing no growth. After 6 months, I had only 700+ followers and no engagement. Frustrated, I gave up.
2022
A Last Attempt That Changed Everything
A friend with over 1 million followers promoted his TikTok course on WeChat. I was skeptical but decided to give it one last try. This time, instead of guessing, I followed proven strategies—and in just one month, I hit 700K+ followers on TikTok! My best live stream even had 6.5K+ viewers at the same time.
I applied the same strategies on Instagram—and again, it exploded! The channel was growing from 300 to 80K+ followers in just 3 months.
